    DED Ajman signs two strategic new cooperative agreements for storage of seized goods

    The Department of Economic Development – Ajman (DED-Ajman) has recently signed a strategic new cooperative agreement with TAD Logistics Company and Al Shamali & Waris Trading Company. Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will assist DED-Ajman in facilitating the transfer and storage of seized, damaged and counterfeit items. The new partnership demonstrates DED-Ajman's continued commitment towards establishing key cooperative with the private sector in order to provide comprehensive and integrated services that contribute to the efforts to achieve the goals set forth in Ajman Vision 2021.

    DED– Ajman organizes series of inspections to monitor prices across public libraries in the emirate
    Move aimed at ensuring that prices are not increased and are in compliance with UAE laws

    The Department of Economic Development - Ajman (DED-Ajman) successfully conducted a series of inspections across public libraries located in the emirate. The visits were made to monitor prices and to check if these public institutions are in compliance with set UAE laws and guidelines. The move falls under the framework of the department's continuing efforts to ensure that prices are not increased and are in compliance with the law.

    Department of Economic Development – Ajman reveals positive impact and benefits to be gained from decision to exempt businesses with expired licences from stiff fines and penalties

    The Department of Economic Development – Ajman (DED-Ajman) has revealed that the recent Emiri resolution No. (16) of 2018 issued in May 2018 by His Highness (H.H.) Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, to exempt local businesses with expired business licences from stiff penalties and fines until the end of this year has left a positive impact on local businesses. According to the Emiri resolution, the period of implementing the decision will be in effect until December 31, 2018, wherein the economic establishments will be able to renew their licenses through a variety of channels such as the TASHEEL Tawasol Center, Ajman TASHEEL Services Center, TAAJEEL Center, Hamidiya customer happiness Center, Municipality Service Center, Manama Branch, SANAD Masfoot Center.
